New jersey writes history

At the event that will definitely go down in Serbian football history, Radomir Antic, the Coach of the national football team, presented to the public the national jersey. The Serbian footballers will be appearing at the World Football Championship for the first time independently, in this apparel. By using the latest holographic technology at the event that was attended by a large number of attendees from the world of politics and sport, City Parliament hosted the official display of the gear that the Serbian footballers would be wearing at championship games.

The new home jersey is red with a large white cross, like in the Serbian national costume, starting from the hand over the torso and dropping symbolically to the left over the heart and state crest. On the back of the jersey, on the collar, there is a sign in royal blue emphasizing all the three colors of the flag in Cyrillic lettering, while on the inner side of the head opening there is a small two-headed eagle characteristic for Serbian uniforms. On the inner side of the jersey, on the back of the national crest, and located symbolically above the heart, there is the inscription “Heart on the Field”, also in Cyrillic and specially designed as a replica of the letters in the Serbian national crest. The numbers on the back of the jersey have a classic football design and have perforations to make the jersey lighter and better ventilated.

“It is a great pleasure to have the honor to present the new Nike jersey of the Serbian national football team that our footballers will be wearing in South Africa. I can only say that through qualifications on the field we have striven to write history with our players and to qualify for the World Cup independently for the first time. The people at Nike have recognized this and made apparel that is designed and inspired by national colors and symbols enabling us to present our country in the best possible way”, says Radomir Antic, the Coach of the Serbian football team.
